#Controls

Miko Rhythm works with a keyboard, a controller or a dance pad. Every action can be rebound. The game shows keyboard or controller glyphs depending on what you used last.

On a PlayStation controller, Cross = A, Circle = B, Square = X and Triangle = Y.

You can use the D-pad and face buttons at the same time, for example the D-pad for left and down and the face buttons for up and right. Each press counts, even while another binding of the same lane is held.

In the wardrobe, rotate Miko with the right stick, by dragging, or with Q/E.

#Dance pads

USB dance pads and arcade sticks show up as ordinary controllers. Plug yours in and press a button so the game notices it. If the arrows don't line up with the lanes, rebind them (below): the game accepts both buttons and axis directions.

Clearing a song with a controller or dance pad earns the Hands On achievement.

#Rebinding

Open Settings > Controls.

  • Key Bindings (keyboard lanes) and Controller / Dance Pad (pad lanes): choose Rebind next to a lane, then press the new key, button or direction.
  • Controller buttons: choose a device and an action to remap any other action (pause, restart, loop keys and so on).
  • Press Back to cancel. Capture times out after 10 seconds.
  • A binding already used by another action in the same context is rejected, and the game tells you which action has it. Menu and gameplay actions may share a binding: that's how F can be both "favorite" in menus and the down lane in play.
  • Reset restores the defaults.

#Window and fullscreen

Use Enter Fullscreen on the home menu or in Settings, or set Window mode (Windowed, Borderless, Fullscreen) in Settings > Video.
