#Timing: audio and visual offsets

Setting Range What it does
Auto-sync timing on (default) / off After each finished song, nudges the audio offset toward how you actually hit.
Audio offset (ms) −500 to +500 Shifts when notes are due relative to the music. Use it if the sound feels late or early (for example Bluetooth headphones).
Visual offset (ms) −300 to +300 Shifts where notes are drawn relative to the music. Use it if the picture lags (for example TV game modes or slow displays).
Judgement offset (ms) −300 to +300 Shifts the judgment timing itself.

Calibration (home menu, about 20 seconds) measures both audio and visual offsets for you: tap with the clicks, then with the moving arrow, then Apply. It earns the Right on Time achievement.

#How Auto-Sync works

  • It only learns from finished, non-failed runs at 1× speed with no Hidden or Sudden. Practice at 1× is fine.
  • It needs at least 32 hits judged Good or better (within ±90 ms).
  • It moves the offset by 60% of your median error, at most 25 ms per song and within ±250 ms overall. It ignores errors under 10 ms.
  • It never changes anything mid-song. The results screen tells you when it adjusted, for example "Auto-sync: timing adjusted 8 ms later".
  • Turn it off to freeze your offset (useful once you've calibrated by hand).

#Lane colors and color-blind options

  • Color scheme presets: Miko Neon (default), Classic Miko, Neon Arcade, Pastel Dream, Color-blind friendly (Okabe-Ito colors), Mono Glow.
  • Arrow colors: set each lane's color yourself, then Save as scheme (names up to 24 characters). Rename or delete your own schemes. Reset colors goes back to the preset.
  • Note colors: Fixed per arrow (default) or Beat colors (rhythm), which colors notes by their beat position on charts with a trusted beat grid.
  • Doubles share one color: chords (two or more notes at once) get one shared highlight color.
  • Color-blind safe judgements (Accessibility): judgment text colors chosen to stay distinguishable.

#Judgment display (Gameplay)

  • Judgement position: Past the receptors (default), Centre, Below receptors, Side.
  • Judgement size: Small, Medium, Large.
  • Show combo, Show early/late, Show timing in ms, Timing bar.
  • Miko's attitude: Sassy, Sweet (no roasts) or Quiet (no speech bubbles).
  • Hit Sounds: play a click on each hit.

#Audio

  • Master volume, Music (default 70%) and Sound Effects (default 100%).
  • Song speed changes keep the pitch the same.

#Video and quality

Setting Options
Window mode Windowed, Borderless, Fullscreen
3D resolution scale 50%, 75%, 100%: lower it for more frames on weaker GPUs
Frame-rate cap 30, 60 (default), 120, Unlimited
Effects quality Full or Reduced (Reduced also turns off beat pulses and hit bursts)
Miko style Full (3D model) or 2D (lightweight)
Hair and clothes / Body Miko's physics on/off
Miko Mascot show or hide Miko

If Miko is slowing the game down on your PC, the game offers to switch her to 2D.

#Accessibility

  • Reduce motion: turns off beat pulses, stage animation and burst effects. Some judgment feedback also follows your system's reduced-motion preference.
  • UI scale: 100% to 125%.
  • Hold to confirm: menu confirms need a hold instead of a tap.
  • Color-blind safe judgements, plus the Color-blind friendly scheme above.

#Profile & Streaming

  • Name on leaderboards: the name shown on your local score lists.
  • Hide explicit songs: on by default. Songs with explicit titles are hidden from the list, Random and the Daily Challenge. Turn it off to show them with an E badge.
  • Streamer mode: shows only songs marked STREAM-SAFE (songs made by the developers) and always hides explicit songs, including in Random and the Daily Challenge. Streamer mode doesn't guarantee anything about content claims on any platform; it hides everything not on the stream-safe list.
